Vapormatt, the world’s leading wet blasting company, has recently signed a new distributor agreement with Jebsen & Jessen Technology Ltd who offer support services to a number of aerospace companies in the region.

Jebsen & Jessen’s senior sales engineer for aerospace, Larry Kee, comments that “Vapormatt have sold many wet blasting machines with most of our top customers and the clear benefits in surface finishing of the wet blast process over dry blasting make the opportunities with Vapormatt very exciting”.

Founded in 1963 Jebsen & Jessen have grown to serve over 20,000 customers in South East Asia. Their focus on doing good business with an entrepreneurial spirit made them an ideal partner for representing Vapormatt’s wet blasting products for the aerospace sector in the region.

“This new partnership will allow us to provide maintenance and wet blasting support services for Vapormatt’s existing customers and also create opportunities to introduce Vapormatt wet blasting to other aerospace customers who have not heard of Vapormatt” Kee continues.

Being based in Singapore the company has good access to the region and is closely located to an emerging and thriving aerospace hub. With a strong network of contacts and customers Jebsen & Jessen plan to present Vapormatt wet blasting machines for aerospace at the Japan Aerospace Exhibition later this year.

Tim England, Vapormatt’s head of sales and marketing, describes the new partnership as “exciting times for Vapormatt in a period where we are looking to grow our sales network to better serve our customers throughout the globe. Our continued efforts to improve customer engagement and levels of service will be greatly improved by having Jebsen & Jessen as part of the team” He concludes.

With a strong focus on process control and a very experienced design team Vapormatt wet blasting machines offer complete process ownership and high levels of repeatability and consistency. The automatic range gives the operator control of the pressure, flow and temperature of the process stream, and is able to produce a range of finishing effects, from the removal of paint, rust, grease and scale, without damaging the substrate material, prior to NDT, to the fine finishing of surfaces for coating, bonding and painting, and precision peening of turbine blades to an accuracy of just a few microns.

To learn more about the wet blast process or to discuss an application you may have for aerospace surface finishing you can contact Vapormatt directly or get in touch with Jebsen & Jessen through their website.
