This Vapormatt sump unit will deliver the wet blast process as part of a closed loop system. Parts to be processed can sit on the GRP work grids. With its stainless steel construction customers can build their own enclosure to suit their needs under the guidance of Vapormatt.
The sump uses the Vapormatt advanced pump and nozzle system and can work with a wide scope of abrasive media making the machine very versatile. The process can be changed to match each application depending on media type and size and can be used for material surface preparation.
The sump has two available sizes:
Lion: 1.7m x 1.7m and is surrounded by an extension and raised platform for a total footprint of 6m x 3.5m. The sump working platform would be approximately 1.8m high.
Leopard: 2.8m x 2.0m and built with the patented donut sump the working platform height is kept low at 700mm.
When constructing the cabinet the customer will need to ensure the following considerations are addressed to ensure the system will work:
The sump can also supplied with 2 nozzles. This allows the operator to choose a more aggressive blast or a softer process to give a low Ra and aesthetically pleasing finish.
All of our wet-blasting systems are backed up by our global service, full aftermarket support and of course our Vapormatt Promise.
