The benefits of wet blast surface preparation from Vapormatt were presented at JIMTOF on stand Number E5027. The company drew attention not only to the advantages its technology offers to the tooling industry, but also the developments to its agency network and a key enhancement of its service capability.

After a great first season Vapormatt sponsered powerboat "NOSferatu" came away with 4 podium positions and 3 first places.

At Saturday's presentation evening the team came away with  both the "Havelet Trophy" and the "Best Newcomer Award".

"Having had a few teething problems in the boats first season this was a great result for us" comments Oliver Ashworth, a design engineer at Vapormatt. "Of the races that we competed in I was very happy with the boats performance, however am looking forward to further test work over the winter to have an even better season in 2013."

The success of Vapormatt’s wet blast surface preparation technology in the wire industry is demonstrated by a growing number of installations and, now, the senior appointment of a Sales Engineer dedicated to this key sector of manufacturing.  

Wet blast specialists, Vapormatt, is reporting significant business development as a result of its participation at the Aluminium 2012 Exhibition in Germany (October 8 – 10). The company highlights the industry as a key user of its system designs – particularly in the field of extrusion die cleaning.
